TRAINING POLICY
Total Drilling Services Pty Ltd is committed to the continued training and development of all personnel, no matter where they are employed.
The continuous development of training strategies along with the current level of training provided will be in accordance with all Statutory Legislation and be aligned to the National Training Framework regarding the relevant training packages relating to our core activities. The standard of training will compliment industry best practices and support our Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Assurance policies.
To abide by this policy, Total Drilling Services Pty Ltd will:
- Provide a thorough and relevant induction and refresher courses
- Undertake a Training Needs Analysis on a regular basis to ensure that employee and management needs are adhered too
- Provide training and development as indicated by the Training Needs Analysis
- Ensure that minimum standards are established and maintained
- Ensure that all employees are encouraged to participate in training programs to ensure the continued development of their skill
- Ensure that records of training are maintained and made available to employees upon request

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Total Drilling ServicesPty Ltd is committed to minimising the impact of our operations on the environment which includes the local surroundings, flora and fauna and landowners. This shall be achieved through the education of employees, following industry best practises and by complying with procedures.
We will endeavour to comply with all legislative requirements and conform to any specific environmental requirements of individual sites and clients.
To achieve this we will:
- Promote environmental awareness among all employees of the Total Drilling Services Pty Ltd, and increase the understanding within our workforce of environmental issues;
- The sourcing and maintenance of up to date records on Government Regulations and Legislations concerning the environment. Informing staff of these requirements, and any changes to the Government Regulation and Legislations, as they are promulgated;
- Complying with environmental policies of the clients for whom we work;
- Conducting our operations in a manner that ensures our work practises give the required consideration to the environment;
- Implementing rehabilitation practises that limit the potential for erosion and land degradation.
