We’ve been busily working away at our website with many updates and alterations. Amongst the many changes, some notable ones are the addition of machine specifications in the Services page, new stories in the NEWS section, photos added to the Gallery and changes to the Safety page. Updates to the website are still in progress , so please keep an eye on the site. You may need to hit ctrl+F5 on your keyboard to be able to see all the updates.

In the next month or two, the Safety page will be updated to reflect the introduction of our STEMS program. This program will aid in the improvement of our document control and reporting requirements – with layout, staff accessibility and security being the main benefits. Our Safety page will also include up-to-date safety satistics.

If you have work related photos that you would like to share, please send them to Amy Casey or to your Site Manager. All photos that are approved will be posted to the Gallery section.

The management of Total Drilling Services Pty L…

The management of Total Drilling Services Pty Ltd are pleased to advise that the company has signed an agreement with STEMS Solutions for the implementation and maintenance support of a web based safety management system. STEMS is designed to manage safety, training, employees, injury management, asset management and many other business aspects that require tracking and reporting. This system will provide significant improvement and efficiency to our business in terms of how we manage and report safety and other matters in our business. It provides readily available live data that will help ensure issues are identified faster and dealt with promptly. Over the coming weeks Amy Casey will be establishing the system to meet our needs and then commence rolling out site based training to site management and supervisors. The system is very user friendly once personnel have been familiarised with it and ultimately it will decrease the level of paperwork currently required throughout our existing system. The STEMS system was chosen after careful consideration of several options, due largely to the user friendly interface, the detailed and readily available reporting and tracking and the locally available business support. This represents a significant step forward in the management of the Safety of our employees and our business in general. For more information on the STEMS system see http://www.stems.com.au/
